About

I’m a Manifesting Generator with one foot in the mystical woods and the other dancing in a spreadsheet.
For me, the magic began with wool—tiny felted animal guides that carry the essence of spirit and story. They’re more than art; they’re talismans, reflections of the journeys we take within ourselves.
But Roving Way was never meant to stop at the worktable. I know the thrill—and the hurdles—of turning your gifts into something that not only lights you up but sustains you. That’s why Roving Way grew into two intertwined paths:
the creative craft of animal guides and 1:1 coaching to help other creatives bring their visions to life.
I invite you into the shop where I weave together shamanic journeying, symbolism, and soulful artistry with grounded strategy and clear-eyed planning. It’s a place for making beauty and building what lasts.
Whether you’re here to discover your own animal guide or to bring your dream project into the world, Roving Way is a place to begin.
Explore the paths—creative or coaching—and see where your journey leads.

Journey Work

A path inward, so you can move forward.
Journey work is a powerful way to connect with your inner wisdom and the unseen guidance that surrounds you. Through rhythmic meditation, you enter a symbolic landscape where insight, healing, and clarity unfold.
Many people meet animal spirits during these journeys—sometimes fleeting visitors, sometimes lifelong guides. These power animals show up with messages, lessons, or simply presence. The more often you journey, the more familiar these relationships become. Your spirit animal isn’t something you choose—it reveals itself when you’re ready to listen.
At Roving Way, we lovingly bring these animal allies to life through the craft of needle felting. Each one is handmade as a tangible reminder of your journey—something to hold, honor, and keep close as you walk your path.

Animal Guides and Cultural Respect
A spirit guide is more than a symbol. In many cultures—especially among Indigenous peoples of North America—an animal guide is a sacred ally, carrying wisdom, protection, and lessons for the person they walk beside. These relationships are part of a much larger spiritual framework that includes ceremony, community, and teachings specific to each culture. Approaching this concept with humility means learning from authentic sources, honoring the people who hold these traditions, and understanding that what is shared publicly is often just a small part of something much deeper.
In shamanic journeying, a power animal is a guide that appears in a meditative or visionary state to offer insight, healing, or protection. Meeting one often begins by entering a relaxed, focused state and imagining yourself in a safe, natural place. An animal may appear—sometimes familiar, sometimes unexpected. The qualities of that animal often reflect something you need to learn, embody, or remember. In many traditions, power animals are seen as companions on life’s path, returning at key moments to support and guide you.
As an artist, my work is inspired by the beauty and symbolism of the human–animal connection. I also believe it is my responsibility to honor the cultures and spiritual traditions that have carried these teachings forward. The phrase “spirit animal” comes from Indigenous North American traditions, where it holds sacred meaning. Some Native communities view its casual use—especially as slang or a metaphor—as disrespectful. Out of care for these traditions, I use the term “animal guide” in my work. This allows me to share the joy and meaning of these connections while honoring the origins of the practice and showing respect to all cultures and beliefs.
